I must say, BODY OF EVIDENCE provides the only time Jürgen has completely failed to convince me in a scene. Completely. The final showdown. He stands. He stares at Madonna. Her lips are moving. Endlessly. She says a bad word. She says it again. Are we impressed, yet?...She's...A-C-T-I-N-G...Jürgen continues to STARE at her, as if unable to comprehend how this moment has come to pass...His lifelong ambitions, his dreams, his hard work, all have converged to bring him to this seemingly inescapable instant, this black, talentless abyss ...His frozen expression says one thing to me, and one thing only... MEIN GOTT. I SIMPLY CANNOT BELIEVE HOW BADLY YOU -----S-U-C-K----- AT THIS, Madonna.

I'll bet he went home, had a good stiff belt, and shook his head, smirking, all night.

I confess that I thought Madonna was good in Body of Evidence... and that despite the fact that I don't like her in general... But then, I've never seen her in another movie. If I see her in something else, which I don't plan to, and she sucks, which she probably does, I'd probably change my mind about her performance in this one.
