If sado-masochistic sex scenes don't fascinate you, they will ruin what might otherwise have been a perfectly good murder-trial mystery/suspense movie. What watchability it has is mainly due to Madonna's superb portrayal of a complicated character. Jürgen has a small but entertaining role as a bad guy.
