THE HUMAN BOMB

1996. Stars Patsy Kensit, Jürgen Prochnow.

A terrorist takes an elementary-school class and their teacher hostage. Jürgen is the detective tasked with obtaining their safe release without meeting the bomber's ransom demand. Though there's too much dull stock footage in the first 40 minutes, once you make it past that point it's well worth watching as Jürgen orchestrates the tactics on one side and Patsy deals with the bomber and the kids on the other. We'd have given this a higher rating if it hadn't taken quite so long to get interesting.
