Okay... DUH. Another JPWSFCer found copies of this thing in a used-video store and sent me one, wanting to know why I said Jürgen was hardly in it and didn't do anything etc. etc.
It turns out that's because when I watched a rental copy, or tried to, I 1. started fast-forwarding to find Jürgen after almost 2 hours because I couldn't stand the movie, and 2. he's only in it a little bit till that section ends. At one point you get "to be continued," but the next time it's to be continued they don't TELL you that; they show full credits as if it's over. Having FF'd up to that point I had no way of knowing whether it was really over or not... I could only hope.
The upshot was that I never saw the whole thing, and missed all Jürgen's real scenes. He's mainly in the latter portion. So mea culpa, he is in it a good bit and there is now a photo page for the movie hooray hooray.
I still didn't watch the film, though. I found that first two hours or so to be really unbearable and am not keen to try it again. What I can tell you is that Jürgen's a hoot in this. I still don't approve of the slick-backed hair, but he had a blast with this bad-guy role, which he performs playfully and with marvelous energy. (No, that's not a euphemism for "overacting.") On that count I'd recommend it for real Jürgen fans, though you might want to fast-forward till you find him. Unless you're a Timothy Dalton and/or Nigel Havers ho, in which case this could be your favorite movie.
Side note: extra points for Jürgen gettin' head-butted by a chick.
