DIE MILLENNIUM-KATASTOPHE

2000. Stars Jürgen Prochnow, Steffen Wink, Patricia Gélin, Lauren Hewett.

Prochnow is the good guy in a Y2K-related disaster movie that had some thought put into it for a change. A mostly-good cast, a blessed absence of overblown melodrama, and a terrific solid performance from Prochnow (think Gerhardt with lower blood pressure) make this one worth seeing.
