This big-budget camp horror film by John Carpenter is great stuff if you're into big-budget camp horror films. Jürgen has a rather small supporting role as a horror novelist whose written fantasies come to life. He's a warm, happy sort of villain, and he may be even scarier like that than he is as the usual icy type of bad guy. We wish he'd had more time onscreen in this one. The film has lots of eerie stuff, lots of gross special effects and a sublime ending.
