RIPPER: LETTER FROM HELL

2001. Stars A.J. Cook. Bruce Payne, Jürgen Prochnow.
Slasher/thriller about a hunt for a serial killer who imitates Jack the Ripper's methods. Prochnow is the detective on the case. Aside from some overblown cliches, the script is better than average for this genre and the movie absorbing and genuinely creepy. If you can stand the gore, you'll love the superb cast.
