Superb film with Prochnow as a Swiss cop investigating the disappearance of two colleagues in a remote mountain village. The inquiry quickly turns into a nightmare as the inhabitants brutalize the cop in an attempt to stop him from learning their secret. With supernatural overtones, the movie is gorgeously filmed, well-acted, very creepy, and just plain nerve-wracking. Dim the lights and make sure your doors are locked.
